Five finger shuffle!!! I can’t tell you how many of these made me laugh out loud. Loved it. Very worthy experiment. I’m not a genre fiction guy. I vote cookbook.

This was hilarious! I loved the translations, too. 🤣Thanks for the fun start to the weekend.

I read an article once about how in the States in the New England areas we talk now more like they did in the UK when the Pilgrims arrived, and in the UK they diverged to talk differently. If that's true, can you imagine the way we'll talk in 200 years with the acronyms? ICOI, AIR?

Haha I loved this, what a great slow build in energy and humor. “In your kayak you’re king” 🤣 one of many brilliant ones there at the end.

> I may orgasm

See I think this is a perfect use of "IMO" and that is exactly why I have a problem with acronyms. I wouldn't wanna be in the line of fire when someone rolls their eyes back and starts shouting "IMO, IMO" cause I mistakenly thought they were about to get opinionated

A wonderful experiment!! As one of the youngest fiction writers here, I'm both proud and horrified that I knew what each acronym meant without the translation 😂😂

I really love this piece and can totes identify. I’m also a huge fan of stock, photography and clothing catalog model poses. You should hit me up on the DMs and we can discuss plans for a coffee table book of sad stock photography full of ethnically ambiguous people with neutral expressions holding clipboards and wearing lab coats.
