how do you feel?


are you rough? 

warm? 

        supple? 

                scarred?


when you breathe       
will I hear it? 


do you stand tall or 
do you slouch?


when you get up in the morning 
        will your hair stick out on 

the right side or 
the left?


do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast? 


will you sit down when you put your socks on 

or do you balance 

        one foot 

                at a time?



what are you thinking about?



are you hungry?


did you remember what you had to do when you walked into the kitchen 
or did the task you were there to complete get swallowed by a new task you hadn’t set out to do?


when you’re uncomfortable 

        will I know it? 

       
        if you’re happy 

will you show it?


do you snore?


do you smoke?


do you get yourself off in the shower?


who are you 
        thinking about?


are you hungry?

        are you happy?


                are you alone?

   
        am I pigeonholed?

are you color…
