This drew me right in. Such great story progression and the way the main character's true nature is revealed bit-by-bit along the way. Couldn't stop reading.
I’ve been meaning to ask you about your section dividers (and graphics in general, too). The dividers are awesome. Is there a specific program you use to create them?
That was dark! But kept me hooked.... I loved the imaginative creepy place, and the slow reveal of the main protagonist. Oh and the purple, lavender theme ... Wanted to know more about what else is in this universe?
"And no doctor in their right mind would even consider performing surgery on a woman who’s been drugged and brought in against her will by her husband. I mean, that just seems shady." First Prize for the Best Line Ever, if you ask me.
Look. Don't Touch.
That was dark! And I’m a big fan of your graphics.
I hope they put some plastic sheets down in the surgeon's office. You know, for the mess.
Thanks again for creating the barbed wire dividers for Field Research! They add flare to the style and branding of my newsletter. Much appreciated.

I love all the mystery. Who are these women? What is this place? Why the purple eyes? Why the formaldehyde?? It's wonderful that I'm left guessing.
Also, sign me up! I want one of those graphics!
So dark and mysterious today, Meg! I think it's the purple eyes that got me, so creepy!
Love your graphics! And I just barely realized that you made a change to your profile pic 😂😂
Husband are the worst
Men, men, men . . . Can't live with 'em, can't rip their heads off . . . least we can shoot them.
You're the cutest. Thank you.
Super creepy and exquisitely told. You managed to create a character who is delicious to hate.
What an excellent story, Meg! Loved it.

Holy cow, that was fantastic. Thank you for sharing. .
Ooops. I guess the wife will have to pay the bill. Unless they don’t care about money and she has been turned into a beautiful alien frog woman.
