I hope they put some plastic sheets down in the surgeon's office. You know, for the mess.

Thanks again for creating the barbed wire dividers for Field Research! They add flare to the style and branding of my newsletter. Much appreciated.

How many Best Seller ideas do I need to pitch you before you start writing them? I ask only for a cursory nod in your author acknowledgements in return.

You're welcome again for the dividers. They look truly brand-tastic over there.

Too many viewings of Lethal Weapon 2, and too many episodes of Hannibal.

Haha! My husband mentioned LW2 when he read your comment.

Embracing the (unintended) double meaning here.

Thanks. 😊

This drew me right in. Such great story progression and the way the main character's true nature is revealed bit-by-bit along the way. Couldn't stop reading.

Thank you, Jim! I had a lot of fun peeling the onion on this one. Glad it kept you engaged.

I love all the mystery. Who are these women? What is this place? Why the purple eyes? Why the formaldehyde?? It's wonderful that I'm left guessing.

Also, sign me up! I want one of those graphics!

Hooray for keeping you guessing! It's this new thing I'm trying where I DON'T give everything away on a silver platter (or a wooden box). Welcome to my open-to-interpretation crusade.

You're signed up. Email me with any ideas you have (specific imagery you want me to include, colors, etc.) and I'll mockup some stuff for ya.

So dark and mysterious today, Meg! I think it's the purple eyes that got me, so creepy!

Love your graphics! And I just barely realized that you made a change to your profile pic πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The stock photo made me do it, Claire!! πŸ’œπŸ˜‚πŸ‘€

I was wondering when someone would notice Dolt hijacked my profile. He's been up for a couple of days now. I thought I might use him as my author mood gauge. When I'm having a frustrating day, he will show up. When I'm riding high, I'll knock him out. 😊

"Just because Meg wants to kill husbands in her stories, doesn't mean she wants to kill them in real life." Your words. Well, not yours, someone else's, but still!

P.S. I'm in the middle of reading Heartburn so.... this story is partly your fault. πŸ˜‰

Super creepy and exquisitely told. You managed to create a character who is delicious to hate.

What an excellent story, Meg! Loved it.

I’ve been meaning to ask you about your section dividers (and graphics in general, too). The dividers are awesome. Is there a specific program you use to create them?

That was dark! But kept me hooked.... I loved the imaginative creepy place, and the slow reveal of the main protagonist. Oh and the purple, lavender theme ... Wanted to know more about what else is in this universe?
