Can’t pick a favourite. You never asked me to … but …

I’ll re-read tomorrow. Off to watch a movie.

The Grey Man. Serve with a bottle of Côte de Rhône

It turned out that ‘The Grey Man’ is a madcap and bloodstained ‘romp’, lightweight viewing made much more palatable with red wine. Warm fire, film with no thinking involved, just Monday’ing.

I'm asking you to now. 😉See you tomorrow.

Well, ‘you highly unpredictable, free-spirited story maven, you’, I’m going for Uncharted and the tucking the hair behind the ear …. which Mrs F seems quite partial to. Thanks for the nudge. It was a close run thing … the last sip in the red wine glass is a beautifully pitched to and fro. Happy writing, Meg.

It's a classic move... the hair tuck. 🙂

Enjoy your next glass of red with Mrs. F, and my compliments.

These were so great, and like F&F above, I find it impossible to pick a favourite. Maybe the wine one, but then the storyteller one was amazing as well and oh…so were the others. Damn. Thanks for this, Meg!

These are really fun and I'd love to see them become a staple in your arsenal.

I'll load my stapler.

What are your thoughts on grouping them like this? Would they be better served one or two at a time? I'd certainly get more "posts" out of them that way. 😉

This size grouping worked for me.

I would like them to each have their own page, their own focus. No writing above and none below. They are stand-outs!

Ack! Dueling opinions from highly influential peers!

You two fight it out and get back to me. 😂

I haven't quite decoded the first one, but I love this metaphor: "... he jams his key into the broken lock on my front door. He won’t get inside."

And this one: "The party was over long before we capsized."

"He’ll tell this one again. And it will be the first time. As always." Sounds like my ENTIRE family.

"“Then throw me out!” Gladly.

All of these are just excellent, Meg. Very entertaining.

Meg, it’s so much fun to read all of these again and to see them on the same page. They’re all brilliant and beautiful in their own unique way. I can’t pick a favorite…and you know what, damn, I don’t think I want to! Give me all of them! I think you could send them out individually or as a batch…both approaches would be fine. With that said, the way you formatted the stories here works really well, in my opinion.

Lastly…thank you for the mention! 🙏
