Holy cow, all I can say is this: you’ve got more ideas floating around in your head than I do! I know that I only write the ones that keep resurfacing, and I tend to drop the one-offs, the little sparks that I look back on and go “huh?” But there are some gems in there.

I don't think you should let any of these stories get away, but in particular I'd like to read Meatloaf Noir, Beta, and Heartbreakers.

Here's to a fruitful and energizing 2024.

Some of these stories feel Black Mirror-esque, and I would LOVE to read them. But ditto on the essays, Meg!! The authenticity one snd self brand one especially. 🙂 (I feel like early 40s folks, straddling both Gen X and millennial sensibilities, can particularly relate.)

There's a lot you can do with the 'Man With the Exploding Heart', and 'The Layover'. So many ways you can go with both of them.

❤️👍❤️

The Confidence Man, that sounds very intriguing to me. Self-confidence is such a fleeting thing. It comes and goes…

They all sound great, but I think Lionheart is the one I’d order. Really curious what you’d do with that premise.

Eagerly awaiting Talk Fiction. Which is a GREAT name for a podcast. And I volunteer to guest on it as often as you'll have me. Just make me your default backup.

The Layover sounds like a good one! And I know the story behind the Secret sandwich and I LOVE it!! :) Thanks for sharing this...reminds me that even small starts and stories in our minds are still part of the process and count for something! I'm with you on the whole goal setting thing! :-/

That in-progress list cooks. Particularly hopeful for The Layover.
